Do you allow pets?

Due to guests' allergies, we do not allow pets in our rooms.  We guarantee that our rooms are scent-free and the presence of pet odors can compromise some guest's health.

 

Do you have A/C?

The Box Canyon Lodge & Hot Springs installed individual A/C units in each of our guest rooms and suites in October 2009.

 

What is your smoking policy?

The Box Canyon Lodge and Hot Springs is pleased to be a 100% non-smoking hotel. Smoking is not permitted in any guest rooms, the area around the hot tubs or any public areas within the hotel.   Smoking is not permitted within 20 feet of any building on the property.

 

Where are you located?

We are located within the City Limits in Ouray, Colorado.  We are two blocks west of Main Street on Third Avenue.  Shops and restaurants are just a short walk away yet you are on a quiet street.

 

Do you have high speed internet?

We have wireless internet at the motel.  It is free to our guests and is available in our motel rooms.   We also have one computer in the lobby that can be used by guests for shorter durations and it too is free for our guests.

 

Do you have a guest laundry?

We have added a small guest laundry for our guests.  Washers, dryers, detergent and dryer sheets are available.

 

When are your hot springs available for use?

Our hot springs hot tubs are available for guest use every day from 8:00am until 10:00pm.  We only allow our guests to use these facilities.

 

Do you have a free breakfast?

We offer our guests a very light continental breakfast consisting of homemade muffins, juice, coffee, tea, and apples.  There are several restaurants within walking distance if you prefer a more substantial meal.
