Fun for both adults and children

In addition to the children’s sledding hill right in town, short drives in either direction of Ouray offer unlimited sledding in some of the most spectacular mountains you’ll ever see.

Bring a sled or an old inner tube. If you live in the warm south and don’t have winter toys, plastic “dishes” can be purchased inexpensively in Ouray at Apteka on Main Street.  Or, a large piece of cardboard works just as well.
