Directions — Where in the World is Ouray Colorado?

Getting to Ouray is quite easy.  Ouray County is located in southwest Colorado in the heart of the San Juan Mountains.  Ouray is about 300 miles southwest of Denver.  The closest airport to Ouray is Montrose Airport (MTJ).  There are rental cars available at that airport.

The Box Canyon Lodge & Hot Springs is located in the southwest corner of Ouray at the exit for the Box Cañon Falls Park.

From the North (coming through Ridgway)

• Entering Ouray from the North, you will pass the large Ouray Hot Springs Pool on your right.

• Continue through town approximately 8 blocks to Third Avenue (at the south end of town) and turn right (west). The Box Canyon Lodge is down one and a half blocks on the left.

From the South (coming through Silverton)

• Entering Ouray from the South, coming down the hill, the first cross street is Third Avenue. Turn left (west) on Third Avenue. The Box Canyon Lodge is down one and a half blocks on the left.
